Description
The Depacker DK Series represents an innovative solution for food waste depackaging, designed specifically for food recycling purposes. Its operation involves the preparation of wet materials for recycling food waste, organic waste, or source-separated organics.
This machine facilitates the separation of packaging from food or other organic materials, as well as Source Separated Organics (SSO), in advance of anaerobic digestion or composting processes. Its capabilities extend to separating various types of packaging, such as cans, wrappers, bags, Styrofoam, yogurt containers, plastic bottles, and jars, efficiently removing inorganic solids.
By effectively separating packaging from organic waste, the Depacker plays a vital role in the production of biogas from food and organic waste. This technology contributes significantly to sustainable waste management practices and the generation of renewable energy.
