Organic Waste System
SEPARATING FLUIDS FROM ORGANIC WASTE
The high-pressure Dewatering Screw Press stands out as an exceptional solution for separating liquids from organic waste. Specifically designed for dewatering food waste originating from the food industry or kitchen waste sourced from composting and fermentation centers, this technology excels in its efficiency.
The liquid-rich waste produced by the food industry or supermarkets poses significant challenges in terms of transportation and disposal costs. However, through compacting and dewatering with the Siedon dewatering press, these challenges are mitigated, allowing for a more cost-effective route, such as incineration.
The versatility of this technology extends beyond dewatering alone. Siedon has provided solutions for various applications, including dewatering, depackaging, separation, and shredding across a diverse range of materials.
SEPARATING PLASTIC FROM FOOD WASTE
The Depacker DK is a specialized machine designed for waste depackaging in food recycling processes. Its operation involves preparing wet materials for the recycling of food waste, organic waste, or organics separated at the source.
This Food Waste Depacker & Separator facilitates the separation of packaging from food or other organic materials, as well as Source Separated Organics (SSO), before they undergo anaerobic digestion or composting. It effectively separates organics from various types of packaging such as cans, wrappers, bags, yogurt containers, plastic bottles, or jars. The machine efficiently removes inorganic solids, like packaging materials, during the depackaging process. The resulting depackaged food waste and organic waste can be utilized to generate biogas.
